Run Windows applications natively on OS X, without having to install another OS! CrossOver Mac is currently in (closed) beta, but is expected to be released any time now, and I can’t wait as it sounds like the answer to my prayers.

Day 3 sees the vote for the best mission patch.
This is followed by an investigation into flight, what makes planes and rockets fly well, as well as how to make a rocket look attractive.
In the afternoon, we will be starting to script our podcasts, based on the planets, from the research we did yesterday at the Space Centre.

Well day one at MoodleMoot (a moodle conference) in Milton Keynes is over and its nice to get out of the hot house. There have been a number of presentations that I have been to throughout the day.
Niall Sclater from the Open University discussed their adoption of Moodle and how it fits into their plans. Today is the second day of the CLC’s Space Camp for this year, and we’re off to the National Space Centre at Leicester.
We are going to undertake the Mission to Mars Challenger Mission, some time exploring the exhibition and a showing of the new film Astronaut in the Space Theatre, featuring the voice of Ewan McGregor.
I’m sure it will be an exciting (but long and no doubt tiring) day, so I’m sure that there will be lot to comment on later.

Today is day one of this year’s summer school. We will be posting and commenting on what we manage to get done. So expect more during the day.
Students from 5 of our schools have congregated to learn more about space exploration and planets.
