Space Camp 2006, day 2
Today is the second day of the CLC’s Space Camp for this year, and we’re off to the National Space Centre at Leicester.
We are going to undertake the Mission to Mars Challenger Mission, some time exploring the exhibition and a showing of the new film Astronaut in the Space Theatre, featuring the voice of Ewan McGregor.
I’m sure it will be an exciting (but long and no doubt tiring) day, so I’m sure that there will be lot to comment on later.
Today was absolutely great and I really enjoyed it.
The traffic to-and-fro was a bit tedious, but it was worthwhile.
My favourite parts were
1) The Space Cinema
2) The Tranquility Bay Astronaut Tests
3) Controlling the shuttle to get the people back from Mars
Anyway, it was great today and I can’t wait for tomorrow!!
